John 6:57 "as the living Father had sent Me and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me, he also shall live because of Me."

*God wants to be digested and assimilated by us so that He can become the constitution of our inward being and that we will be one with Him and the same as he is in life and nature (but not in the God-head).

1 John 5:11-12 "And this is the testimony, that God gave to us eternal life and his life is in His Son. He who had the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."

Footnote 1: the testimony of God is not only that Jesus is His Son but also that He gives to us eternal life, which is in His Son. His Son is the means through which He gives us His eternal life, which is His goal for us!

"Thank You Lord for you're eternal goal. Thank You for Your eternal life that You have made readily avaliable for us to eat as the Tree of Life! You are so awesome! For Your eternal life is the most precious gift given to us. Your eternal love for us. Lord, cause me to run after you daily, moment by moment... Seeking after Your eternal life, eating Your tree of life! I love You Lord Jesus!"
